We are the Whisonant Family from South Carolina.  We have 10 children and live on a 25 acre homestead where we currently raise children (obviously), cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, and guineas. Our gardens are always growing larger as we get more experience and try new things.  We are also constantly adding more fruit and nut trees (bushes, vines, etc) to our homestead.  Our family is solidly grounded in our Catholic faith.  We homeschool and try to raise a decent amount of our food.  In this blog, you will find everything from posts regarding our homesteading experiences to family trips to recipes.  Please feel free to leave suggestions as we would like this blog to be a growing and learning experience for us.
